I know most schools are out already for summer, but my district still has 2 more weeks. I have several more substitute jobs before the school year is out. Does anyone have some good activities to do with elementary/middle school for this time of year? Please help!

I like to do picture or word sorts. It's a little bit athletic, so they can get out and enjoy the sun a little. Plus, they are learning. You can use it to teach anything you can categorize. You just put the general topics on a bucket and then make cards with the pieces that go in each topic. Make it a relay race with two teams and have them try and sort their teams' cards first. I've found it very helpful for learning and for a fun activity at the end of a long year.
