what is a substitute supposed to do over the summer? i'm taking a couple classes, but is there something else I should be doing besides enjoying my time off?

If you are looking for a permanent job with a school or district summer is the time to be checking with them on a regular basis to see if they have had any last minute positions become available for the next school year that you can apply for.
