Classroom management

What are some good things to do when you have a class that is constantly talking? What are some good ways to deal with the students after you tell them to quiet down? I subsitute kindergarten through fifth grade. What about a good website that I can look on for some good classroom management? Thanks a lot for all of your help in advance. Sincerely, Scott French

Hi Scott. Managing a classroom is a difficult task to master. There are a lot of resources available, but most are for permanent teachers such as Harry Wong's First Days of School.
