I have learned a lot from the book and cd, but I think the test questions could be clearer and not double-talk.

I agree with everyone saying these questions are poorly done! Even after looking back over the questions I get wrong, I don't understand why they were wrong. The LEAST wrong answer or the BEST right answer~ those questions aren't fair at all.

The current test questions were developed by a committee and are not easy for us to immediately change. We have monitored the test questions and have statistics for each question. New or revised questions are currently in committee and should be posted sometime in August.

I also agree that the training information presented is good, but the assessment questions are very poorly written and difficult to answer leading to possible incorrect answers. It would also be helpful to know the correct answers to the questions that you got wrong to understand why they are wrong.

I am part of the way through the curriculum and have become very frustrated with the test questions. For example, there are a few questions that address information not covered in either the online or handbook materials. There are also answer sets in which none of the answers seem to be in the materials, thus making the correct answer pure guess work.
I am finding the course itself informative and well presented, but the tests are very poor indeed.

The information in the handbook is useful (I did notice one misspelled word!), but the online sub-assessment is poorly written. Too many of the questions are awkward and difficult to understand just what is being asked. Some of them do not make any sense at all. It is difficult to choose a correct answer to a question that makes little to no sense.
Additionally, it is not especially helpful to learn which answers were wrong without also knowing why and/or which answers were correct. If the correct answers were provided at least, the test taker could then understand what the question was and what the district wants us to know.
