STEDI Web Site Updates...

As you may have already noticed, we at STEDI have been making improvements to the STEDI web site. We've tried to make the site easier to navigate, a little more organized (with a lot more organizing to do!) and even added some new features, like the Substitute Teacher Blog. Hopefully, these changes will make it easier for you, as substitute teachers, to easily find information and resource to improve your substitute teacher skills. As new features and updates are added to the web site, I'll highlight them here and in the substitute teacher blog. Some new features and updates that you can expect to see in the near future are: - Photo highlights of REAL substitute teachers and their success stories right on our web site. - A new chat system that will rival the current buggy and less usable chat feature. Yeah, I know it needs work! :) - A searchable online database of the best fill-in-activities and other resources to aid you in your substitute teacher experience. - For those who use Feedburner or other RSS feed services: RSS feeds to the forums so you can receive updates automatically. ALSO, be sure to visit and subscribe to the Substitute Teacher Blog! Finally, I'll also announce that we'll be creating online versions of ALL of our training materials and delivering them in ONE PLACE through a NEW ONLINE TRAINING TOOL! This will enhance our current online versions by providing a one-stop training system where you can get access to all of the training materials you've purchased and even track your progress through the training. The SubStrength Finder and SubAssessment tools will also be delivered through this new system! Expect to see this great tool around February or March 2009!
